Through Freebee's easy-to-use mobile app, passengers can request rides within designated service areas and enjoy a convenient transportation experience supported by our team of dedicated Driver Ambassadors.

Job Description

This isn't just another driving job. It's an opportunity to be part of a new transportation program that connects communities, improves accessibility, and makes everyday life easier for residents throughout rural Pasco County.

As a Driver Ambassador, you'll be the face of the service, providing safe, reliable, and friendly transportation to passengers of all backgrounds. You'll assist seniors, individuals with disabilities, and residents who depend on public transportation to access healthcare, employment, shopping, and other essential services.

In rural communities, reliable transportation can make a significant difference in someone's daily life. Whether helping a resident get to an important medical appointment or connecting someone with a destination they might otherwise struggle to reach, your role will directly contribute to improving mobility and independence throughout the community.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, timely, and courteous transportation throughout designated service areas in Pasco County using Freebee's fleet of vehicles.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to all passengers, including assisting seniors, individuals with disabilities, and riders who may require additional assistance.
• Maintain a clean and professional vehicle environment and perform daily safety checks.
• Use Freebee's navigation tools and dispatch systems to follow efficient routes and minimize wait times for riders.
• Navigate rural roads and communities safely while maintaining awareness of local traffic conditions and passenger needs.
• Represent Pasco County and Freebee with professionalism, whether on the road or through interactions with local residents and community organizations.
• Report incidents, maintenance issues, and rider feedback promptly to management.
• Promote local businesses and community programs when appropriate, including providing information or guidance to passengers.

Position Requirements

• Must be at least 22 years old.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, criminal background check, and physical.
• Must have a valid Florida Driver's License.
• Must have 3+ years of licensed driving experience in the United States.
• Must have a passion for helping others and serving the local community.
• Must possess strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and navigate a driver app.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently while staying connected with a remote support team.
• Comfortable navigating rural roads, residential communities, and areas with limited public transportation infrastructure.
• Comfortable interacting with a diverse range of passengers, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and residents who rely on transportation to access essential services.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

A Day in the Life of a Driver Ambassador

• Report to your designated Freebee location in Pasco County to begin your shift.
• Open the Freebee Driver Ambassador app and log in to start your day.
• Complete your daily vehicle safety checklist to ensure your vehicle is ready for service.
• Spot an issue? Alert the management team. They're always available to help!
• Clean and prepare your vehicle's interior to provide a comfortable experience for every passenger.
• Hit the road and navigate your assigned service area, providing safe, friendly, and reliable transportation to residents throughout the community.
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the vehicle when needed, ensuring every rider feels comfortable and supported.
• Need help? Our remote support team is just a call away and ready to assist.
• Wrap up your shift by returning your vehicle to its designated location, completing a final inspection, and preparing it for the next Driver Ambassador.
